January 31: A Better Day

Meg in the pulpit, spaghetti, Purdue basketball, and Potbelly's instead of Bruno's.

January 30: Just about Everything that Could Go Wrong Did

The Mt. Vernon basketball game was about the only thing that went as it should. Otherwise, it was a few hours at the library, solo and ensemble, trying to print a wp.s file, and losing the daily draw-twice.

January 22: It's Colts Blue Friday!

A day that started with the surprise of seeing my blog post in the paper, went through 15 8th grade classes in the media center, all through a horrendous headache, but ended with my friends and dinner at the club.

January 21: A Passion for Learning

A treat to watch enthusiasm for learning, following a trip to the doctor and bizarre medical lab stop.

January 18: Like a Kid in a Candy Store

After a long lunch with Debbie (so long that our desserts were free) and before I read more about living the year biblically....and before the final holiday pie of the season.

January 17: Go Colts!

We weren't finished working at Lucas Oil until after midnight, so I figured why not count this for the 17th; I already had too many good things to decide among for the 16th! I spent most of the daylight hours with my dad.

January 16: Purdue Scholars' Day

Meg is sitting in front of my first home. My parents lived here when I was born, and Brett lives almost in sight of it now. A few extra buildings have been demolished, so my old home is next to... the Purdue Press Box! Talk about a fan from birth!

January 15: Queen Lexi

Today was also special for Barbara's birthday party, and work on the TV studio.

January 12: Zeta Cooking Show after Library Board

I missed getting all the attendees, but I did get the stars of the show!

January 9: One Sun Returns, One Son Leaves

As my astute son said before he left, 14-1 and we're resting for the playoffs, lots of football, and I'll remember Meg's SSN from now on.

January 6: A Day Concentrating on Students

A student stopped me in the hall to show me some drawings inspired by one of our new books. The greatest joy I observed all day was when I asked him if I could take a picture of them.

So the days will NOT run together.

I recently heard several mentions of Project 365 from my Twitter PLN (disclaimer: I don't contribute that much, but I learn SO much from the people I follow.) So, I have decided to use my 365 Project to chronicle what I perceive at the time to be the most significant event of each day.
